Justin Beland
Government Affairs and Grassroots Manager
Justin Beland monitors and reports on state grassroots arts activities and keeps in close contact with Americans for the Arts’ 50 State Arts Advocacy Captains. He oversees the advocacy Web portal and E-Advocacy Center, ensuring that grassroots advocates have the most up-to-date information. He also assists in planning and executing Arts Advocacy Day. Prior to joining Americans for the Arts, Justin was a lobbyist for the College Board. He lives in Fairfax, VA, with his wife Debra, son Jake, and daughter Abigail.
