Nashville and Memphis - how many songs have been written about and in these Tennessee cities? The Memphis Rock and Soul Museum counts 899 songs about Memphis alone. These are some of the most famous music cities in the world and a source of not only inspiration for artists, but a source for arts jobs. In fact, Tennessee boasts 54,063 jobs in the arts. Despite representing these famous cities, Senator Bob Corker did not show his support for the arts the past two years, receiving an F grade on his arts report card.
