Senate Arts Report Card - Michael D. Crapo

Michael D. Crapo

Senator Mike Crapo has voiced his support for the arts and arts education in America many times, even releasing an issue brief on their importance. In a press release on his website in May 2006 Crapo stated:

“The many forms of artistic expression that abound in Idaho make our state and our communities healthier and stronger, and I look forward to working with the Idaho Commission on the Arts to further grow arts in Idaho!”

Unfortunately, Crapo’s voting record last year does not back up his statements in support of the arts and arts education. We hope that Crapo remembers the statements he made as a candidate and begins to follow through on them.
