Celebrating National Arts in Education Week

Education Lightbulb SketchNational Arts in Education Week was September 10th through 16th. During this week, Americans for the Arts will recognized the value of the arts in education through a webinar on Thursday, September 14 from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM ET. This was another year-round arts advocacy training opportunity to learn about arts education policies at the federal, state, and local levels. As we continue advocating for arts in education, we invite you to join us in supportingthe Arts Education for All Act, which was introduced September 13, 2023 by Representative Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR). The Arts Education for All Act is the most comprehensive arts education bill ever introduced in Congress. It includes provisions that will support and encourage the offering of arts education and programming experiences to Americans including our youngest learners, K-12 students, youth impacted by the juvenile justice system and more.
